Workgroups serve to divide your employees into teams or departments. The visibility of the projects and the access rights can then be set individually for each workgroup.

Each employee is assigned to one (in strict separation) or to several workgroups. In addition, every project must be assigned a working group. Each workgroup has a leader or supervisor who should receive elevated rights in the Xpert-Timer to get all the projects and recorded times of his or her workgroup or department.

This workgroup mode must be activated in the administration program "XT Admin". Only then can employees, projects and customers be explicitly assigned to the workgroups.
